Tidiness is it really worth it?

I have recently started doing a massive de clutter in my room! It has made such a difference! I can now see the floor!
I can now fell more relaxed in my room because it doesn't feel as crowded and busy! In fact, I will now be doing a bedroom makeover! Which I could never do without decluttering! It makes me feel better about both myself and the room!
I will be giving all of the decluttered stuff to op shops, so that someone else can get better use out of it. Some other things have to just go in the bin. It is important to declutter regularly, and to keep your room/house tidy and enjoyable to live in!
I have also been trying to organise and tidy things, so that I can use the space of my room more wisely.
Here are some tips that I've found work when you are decluttering.
#1: When decluttering, pick up an item and think, "Does this spark joy?" If the answer is yes, find a place for it and keep it there, if the answer is no, then find someone who will get better use of it!
#2: If you are like me, I don't like getting rid of things, what you can do to make you feel more at peace with it, is to say thankyou to the item before letting go of it, obviously, the item has no feelings, but guess what? YOU DO!!! So go ahead and do whatever you need to do to help you feel better!
#3: When you are at a shop, and you find something you like, before you buy anything, ask yourself, do I need this? Is there a specific place that this item will go in? If the answers to the questions above are no, then just say thanks and put it back on the shelf!
